Central Elementary Fox Trot | Thursday, May 16th

The Fox Trot, a run/obstacle course relay celebration for students and a school fundraiser, will be held on Thursday, May 16th at Central's playing fields.

Ms. Peth created the Fox Trot to promote health and wellness, and to celebrate Mileage Club. Ms. Peth is retiring at the end of the school year and to honor her many contributions to Central, the theme of this year's Fox Trot is Community + Kindness.

Volunteers are needed to make the day a success! Click here to learn more and sign up. Thank you for your support!

Key Dates To Stay On Track:

March 20th - Fox Trot Button Contest Due

Students are invited to participate in a contest to create a button for our Central Fox community. Students will use this template to design what Community + Kindness at Central looks like to them. One entry will be selected as the winner. Students are encouraged to get creative and use color! Final artwork needs to be submitted by March 20th to the front office.

April 24 at 2:15 - Fox Trot Pep Rally

Parents are welcome to attend the outdoor rally. If it moves indoors due to rain the assembly will only include students and teachers. The button winner(s) will be announced and Boosterthon registration will open.

Students, teachers and parents are invited to attend the closing assembly, where we'll celebrate everyone's hard work and accomplishments while sliming a few teachers!

Fundraising Goals

In addition to promoting health and wellness for our students, the Fox Trot and the PTA are aiming to raise $25,000 for the last remaining piece of equipment for our newly renovated playground.

The PTA will send home a flyer in your child's backpack with complete fundraising details in April. It will also be featured in the PTA's Connections email correspondence.

We are excited to roll out a new initiative this year -- maximize your contribution with corporate matching! A Central parent who works for Google was able to set up corporate matching that doubles contributions coming from all Google parents at Central! A win for everyone!

We believe corporate matching is a big opportunity for our community, so please take this call to action and reach out to your work community. Check out Boosterthon's Corporate Matching Tool to see if your company offers a program or check with your HR department. If so, please fill in this form and our Central PTA Corporate Matching point of contact will reach out to assist with the process.

As a reminder, anything that flows through the PTA is Tax Deductible as we are a 501(c)(3).
