How do I join the PTA?

By creating an account through Membership Toolkit and paying your membership fee, you will gain access to the online directory and the ability to participate in PTA sponsored events such as Sleep Unders, Sign Up Parties and Parent Parties.

What is the fee for PTA Membership and iGNITE?

The PTA membership fee + iGNITE enrichment fee for the 2026-2027 school year at Central is $155 per student (discounts apply for multiple students).  

PTA Membership goes toward:
- Your access to the online directory** (until 7/31/2027)
- A yearbook for each student
- Dues to the Illinois PTA
- Many of the services that the PTA provides for the Central community, such as classroom stipends for the teachers (for items needed in the classroom), Mileage Club, student council, Green Team, bike safety, STEAM Night, Fourth Grade Farewell, Kindergarten Popsicles, Landscaping and garden maintenance, etc.

iGNITE is Central School PTA's ONLY campaign to fund enrichment activities for K-4th grade through the school year. (This is separate from KEEP39). 100% of your iGNITE payment goes toward enrichment. The enrichment activities students receive each year depend on the amount of iGNITE funds we receive. (iGNITE payments are tax-deductible. The Central School PTA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our FEIN is 36-3221650.)

Please consider payments to iGNITE if you would like your child to partake in various enrichment activities such as the following:
- Field trips
- Workshops for mindfulness, writing, creative dramatics, etc.
- Programs for science, gardening
- Art Awareness projects
- Invited author visits

How do I access the PTA directory ?

The Central PTA will continue to offer the yearly online directory through Membership Toolkit. To sign up for Membership Toolkit, you must click the link on the email you received from notify@membershiptoolkit.com. If you did not receive an email, please contact the Directory Chair at directory@centralschoolpta.org.

The online directory can be accessed by joining the Central School PTA in the Central Parents Store. The online directory is available through the end of the school year.

Membership Toolkit is the gateway to access many of the school and PTA related events and services. You can support the IGNITE enrichment program for K-4thgrade, purchase a Yearbook or a Birthday Book for your child, contribute to the teacher/staff holiday gift fund and make a donation to the Central Fox Fund (which contributes to improvements at Central School). We also offer tickets to various events such as Central Carnival, Parent-Son Dance, Parent-Daughter Dance, Movie Night, Sleep Under, etc. through Membership Toolkit.

Who is on the PTA executive board?

The board is made up of parents at Central School. If you are interested in joining the board, nominations are taken starting in January. We always welcome new ideas or helpful information. Please contact the PTA President if you would like to join the Executive Board for next school year.
